Permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM)

Compared with the standard induction motor, the permanent magnet AC motor provides improved efficiency. In the motor structure, any need to use permanent magnet excitation current is eliminated and electric loss is reduced. Permanent magnet motors have been used in high performance applications for many years, but this always requires the use of a feedback device, such as a resolver or encoder. AC converters have been designed to work with AC permanent magnet motors without any feedback devices, which can be used for energy efficiency benefits without additional cost and complexity, and without the need for position feedback applications.


DC brushless motor (BLDC)

BLDC and AC motor, but the design needs a slightly different control method to optimize the performance. The AC converter has the flexibility to control this type of motor with only simple parameter changes. This provides OEM with greater flexibility, allowing AC converters to be used for a variety of purposes, various motor types.


Synchronous reluctance motor (SynRM)

Synchronous reluctance motor cannot be confused with switched reluctance motor. It has similar stator structure and standard induction motor rotor, but it is different in essence. In order to improve the overall efficiency of the motor. SRM is very suitable for variable torque applications.

AC frequency converter can control synchronous reluctance motor, so that energy-saving benefits can be realized.
